Dear Customer,
SBI is currently in the process of relocating to a new
premises for its office in the Melbourne CBD. As a result of
the change of premises, it may be necessary for our
Melbourne office to close temporarily.
It is anticipated that the move will occur on 14.04.2023 and
will be open for customers from 17.04.2023.
Sydney Office will continue to provide you with telephone support. The move should not cause any disruption to our customers other than in person visits to our Melbourne office from 11.04.2023 to 14.04.2023.

SBI Australia is offering Life Certificate Attestation facility for Indian Pensioners only on an appointment basis.
Life Certificate Attestation at Sydney Branch.
Please note the Terms & Conditions:
- Considering the Pandemic situation and as per health advise by NSW government, SBI Sydney is doing Life certificates attestation strictly on appointment basis only. Walk-ins are strictly not allowed. For Booking appointments, please click here.
- For online verification, Govt of India has launched a digital life certificate platform ‘Jeevan Pramaan’. It is a biometric enabled Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate for pensioners. Jeevan Pramaan i.e DLC is generated for individual pensioner using his/her Aadhaar number and Biometrics. Eligible departments for the DLC are provided here. - All persons coming to State Bank of India premises must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
- Help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection by staying 1.5 meters away from other people and compulsorily wear masks inside the branch. Only 1 person will be allowed to accompany the Pensioner if required.
- Physical verification is the only available option for Life certificate Attestation.
- Requirements: Life Certificate Form, Original Passport with valid visa copy and Pension Pay Book (if held).
- Life certificate Attestation Fee: Gratis (NIL).
Life Certificate at Melbourne (Victoria) and other states in Australia.
Life Certificate attestation will be not be available at SBI Melbourne
